With just a narrow lead of eight points, four-time WRC champion Sebastién Ogier travels as leader in the World Championships to the Corsica Rallye which will be launched on Thursday, 6 April. Last year Sebastién triumphed in the asphalt classic on the Mediterranean island. Back in those days he was still a starting pilot for VW. Following Volkswagen’s withdrawal from the rallye, the 33-year old Frenchman, who is married to Andrea Kaiser, and his co-pilot will head into the season for M-Sport in a Ford Fiesta. Of the three races thus far, they won one, came in second in another, most recently at the Mexico Rallye in mid-March. In spite of the switch of sponsors, Sebastién is still counted as the favourite for the World Championship title this season.
